It hadn’t occurred to me before, a really easy way to get the AMPTP back to the negotiating table.

The WGA should trick Nick Counter into showing up at a hotel meeting room, perhaps by baiting him with an underage girl. Then when Nick shows up, he encounters the WGA’s secret weapon: Chris Hansen, who corners him with his signature line, “Why don’t you have a seat.”

Then the WGA presents their proposal. Every time Nick stands up, tries to leave the room, throws a hissy-fit, Chris corners him again “Why don’t you have a seat.”

It’s clear that the only way to get the AMPTP to the table and to reach an agreement is to hold them hostage, give them tons of liquids and not allow them to use the restroom.

The breaking point isn’t losing the next TV season, it’s intense pressure on the AMPTP’s bladder.
