My Creative Mojo

I’ve been closely following news of the WGA and AMPTP negotiations. The existing contract has run out and it doesn’t look like either side is even remotely near the same page. In fact, even when they’re sitting down at the same table, they are so far apart that they’re not really in the same room.

If the WGA goes on strike, it’s going to be interesting. And frustrating. And a lot of people are going to get caught in the crossfire. With all the writers on strike, there will be a huge amount of pent up creativity in need of an outlet. I suspect the high levels of creativity without an outlet will create the same amount of energy as displayed when Venkman and crew whip out their particle throwers and cross the streams.
